Our Story

In 2009, Luis Leon, founder of LT Leon Associates, established the company from the basement of his home with one vision: to create a civil engineering firm that focuses on the betterment of the community through sustainable infrastructure. Growing up in Iowa, a state that is defined by five major rivers, he recognized the need for an improved system for managing stormwater, floodplains, and waterways. LT Leon is committed to making Iowa a better place to call home.  With extensive experience with hydrology/hydraulics, public infrastructure, sustainable site development, regulatory permitting, and conservation practices, LT Leon has become a leading water resources focused engineering firm throughout Iowa.
